Chapter One · The Founder

Grant Blackwell.

I started OffLoad AI because I was the customer first. I run Candid Home Inspections, a small Upstate SC firm with multiple licensed inspectors and a steady book of business, and I was drowning.

Phones rang while I was under a crawlspace. Emails piled up while I was driving to jobs. CL-100 reports needed to be uploaded to inspection records before they could be sent to clients, and they always seemed to arrive at nine at night. I tried hiring an office manager. I tried a virtual assistant. Both helped, neither solved it.

So Candid became the testing ground. I began building and testing an AI receptionist, software bridges, inbox monitors, lead-research workflows, and a daily operations digest. Some workflows are in use, others are still being refined, and every one is judged against a simple question: does it remove real work without creating a new mess?

The work proved the operating principle behind OffLoad AI: start with the bottleneck, test in a real business, keep a human in control, and measure the result before making a bigger claim. The goal is less dependence on repetitive admin and more time for the work only an owner or skilled team member can do.

OffLoad AI is our team doing the same thing, for you. I am not a software vendor. I am an operator who has lived the problem, built the fix, and is now building it for the dentists, attorneys, realtors, accountants, contractors, and other small business owners I rub elbows with daily. Especially the ones who know AI can help them, but don't have hours to spend figuring it out.

Chapter Two · Why Local Matters

A national firm doesn't know your name.

There are bigger automation agencies. They charge more, they outsource the work to overseas teams, and they treat your business like account number 4,832. We're the opposite.

i

You'll meet us in person.

Diagnostics are on-site whenever possible. We'll walk your office or shop, talk to your team, and look at your real workflow, not a Zoom presentation of it.

ii

We speak small business.

We don't sell digital transformation. We don't pitch intelligent workflow orchestration. We tell you what we're building, what it costs, and what it saves, in plain English.

iii

We don't ghost you.

Tool hosting, from $200 per month per tool, covers keeping a live workflow maintained. Stay Connected is an optional $500 monthly advisory retainer for on-call support and quarterly business reviews.

iv

You can find us.

We're based in Inman. Our number is on the business card. There's no support queue, no account manager.

Want to see what we'd build for you?

The 60-second calculator is a planning estimate. The free Workflow Audit helps us assess fit. If there is a sound case to investigate, the paid $500 Diagnostic takes one to two weeks and produces a written plan you keep either way; the fee credits toward a build.
